Experience

DeepTCR: Tropical Cyclone Rainfall Forecasting @ PNNL

Developing a physics-inspired deep learning architecture for hurricane rainfall forecasting, outperforming state-of-the-art numerical models. Work is continuing as a funded project.

SULI 2021: Sea Surface Temperature Forecasting

Researching physics-informed machine learning approaches to sea-surface temperature, utilizing Koopman operator theory and autoencoders. Lead author on resulting research paper.

Computer Vision for School Safety

Project to develop a deep-learning computer vision system for classifying the structural integrity of school buildings in developing countries, specifically Kyrgystan.
